Do not hesitate to reach out to us @ 850.781.8747 if you have any additional questions or concerns - We want you to fully enjoy our gourmet BarJarz!
Yes! After you have infused and strained your initial jar, you can add 7-8 oz of your alcohol to the contents and let infuse an additional 1-2 days (the flavor may be somewhat less than your initial infusion). Also, if the finished infusion is too strong in its flavor, you can split your infused and strained alcohol into 2-6oz batches (glass containers are best), and add additional alcohol (up to 6 oz) to each infused 6oz finished batch. Add the additional alcohol in 1-2 oz increments and take a small sip to your preferred taste (adding 1-2 oz at a time) until you are happy with your finished product.
It's always good to check the ingredients that are in your BarJarz (ingredients found on the top label). Really, anything is game, but, for example, you would not want to add coke to a BarJarz that has pineapple as its primary ingredient. Your completed infusion can be enjoyed as a mixed beverage, on the rocks, or straight up - it's your preference!
Note: Our signature BarJarz - The Bloody Best - is full of all the ingredients to make a perfect Bloody Mary, BUT you use either Tomato Juice or Clamato Juice in your mixing*.
*Using a Bloody Mary mix may cause your drink to be way too heavy in the seasonings. Also, the red pepper sticks can be removed prior to infusing for those who prefer a milder Bloody Mary.
Based on our packaging and rotation dates, and taking into consideration shelf life of certain fruits or vegetables, we suggest that you keep your unopened BarJarz in a pantry like environment, and it can be stored up to 90 days. Once your BarJarz has been infused and strained, it will last indefinitely in the refrigerator or freezer - bacteria does not develop in alcohol (provided your infusion has been fully strained, your jar is properly cleaned, and there is no remaining fruits/vegetables in the jar).
